Biography

Robs' choreographic skills are continuing to expand into all aspects of the industry. Choreographing & catering for a wide variety of dance, performance & musical theatre. From stage & screen through to the social & competitive dance floor throughout the UK and the world.

In spring of 2006, Rob was chosen to appear as one of the contestants on Strictly Dance fever, on prime time BBC1 television, in the UK, with Graham Norton. Since then Rob joined the cast of the stage show, Simply Ballroom, on its world tour which performed around the UK, in South Africa, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and on London's West End. Rob then performed alongside & under the direction of Jim Davidson as a featured dancer in Dick Whittington, which lasted the 2006/2007 panto' season, in Dartford, Kent.

Rob has also appeared and performed on South Africa's Strictly Come Dancing, and appeared several times in news interviews for the BBC and ITV and several interviews for both UK and international press. He has also taken part in many radio interviews for many different stations, again throughout the UK and the world.

Rob lives at home with his mum, stepfather and sister & has been dancing since the young age of seven. He first started dancing after attending one of his grandparents' Line dance classes in his home town of Liverpool, England.

Rob first trained at 'Chilterns Stage School' under the guidance of Mrs Collette Fenlon-Byatt, which he attended every evening and every weekend for three years whilst still at High school. Rob then went on to train at Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre, studying, ballet, tap, modern, jazz, latin, ballroom, national, disco, double work (pas de deux) and contemporary, as well as passing all LAMDA & guildhall examinations in acting, and the speaking of verse & prose, With the option to gain qualifications to teach all these various subjects. He also has skills in street, poppin', lockin', tickin', & basic breakin' and a wide variety of couples dancing from the 1900's right through to the present day. He is also a multiple British, European, and World champion line dancer (in both UCWDC & MIL) and a soon to be a qualified judge in various forms of dance, from Linedance to Street Dance.
